Publication process if the article is written in LaTeX

The source file of the received article will be translated by the LaTeX programme of the Technical Editorial Committee. If the translation is not successful the article will be sent back to the author. If the translation is successful, the source file will be converted by LaTeX2HTML into HTML and put into a directory where it can only be seen by the author, the members of the editorial committee of the current section and the asked readers. The Editorial Board of the section will be informed about the publication of the provisional version. After reading this provisional version of the article the Editorial Board will ask two readers to scruntinize the manuscript. Referees are doing thier work on the evidence of the provisional version. Their judgement is sent to the Technical Editorial Committee by e-mail.

If both readers recommend the acceptance of the article without alteration the Technical Editorial Committee will place the provisional version into the column "accepted articles" and inform the author. The article is declared to be published from that time.

If both readers recommend the articles for publication but one or both of them suggest alterations, they send their suggestion to the Technical Editorial Committee who forwards them to the author. On agreeing to the alterations the author should edit the document accordingly and return the new version to the Technical Editorial Committee. The modified article will then be put into column "accepted articles". If the author cannot accept the suggested alteration, the Technical Editorial Committee should be informed and the publication process will be terminated.

If only one reader recommends the article for publication, (with or without alterations) the Technical Editorial Committee will request a third opinion. If the third reader can not recommend the article for publication, it will not be published. If the third reader recommends publication, (with or without alterations) the process will continue as laid out earlier.

Articles will only be published if recommended by two independent readers.

Publication process if the article is written in Word for Windows

If the article is written in Word for Windows the publication process is as laid out earlier except appropriate changes.

The article will then be put into the archives stored according section and volume in postscript and HTML format. These files can be freely downloaded. The journal undertakes to provide a printed version or a CD on request.
